TEAM Up 2 Win Registration How-To Guide
Thank you for your interest in TEAM Up 2 Win and for supporting TEAM Coalition's
efforts to promote responsible drinking and positive fan behavior. This message is an important one to
share with your employees.
The Responsibility Has Its Rewards pledge is simple. Employees pledge to:
- Never drive drunk
- Always have a designated driver
- Never provide alcohol to anyone under 21 years of age
- Always buckle up - every trip, every time
Below are brief instructions for coordinating this program during NCAA® March Madness®.
Register your organization and support efforts to prevent drunk driving!
You will enter organization/company information, select dates for participation and have access to e-mail templates to invite your employees to pledge and donate.
The TEAM Up 2 Win site will allow you to build your own personalized page for managing your group participation. Optional donations to TEAM Coalition are not required for participation. If your company has a matching donation program, be sure to indicate that policy as you create your customized web pages.
Visit the Download Center to view and print customizable posters and other materials to encourage participation and recognize those people who do.
Your organization is also welcome to add your own incentive to encourage more of your employees to participate in the
TEAM Up 2 Win program. Prizes such as prime parking spots, TV's, gift certificates and tickets to
events are great incentives to drive participation and donations.
In the weeks before NCAA March Madness, send e-mail reminders to your employees. Sample e-mails are provided in the Download Center.
Monitor your organization's participation via your online group page.
You can also prepare a media alert to let your community know
about your support for TEAM Coalition. Visit the Download Center for the template and instructions.
Have fun during NCAA March Madness! Encourage your employees to wear their team colors, place posters and program reminders in key locations and call attention to any company recognition opportunity and the chance to win a trip to San Antonio.
One lucky winner will receive two tickets to the championship game. The prize also includes airline tickets and hotel accommodations in San Antonio
during the NCAA Men's Final Four® Weekend April 5 - 7, 2008.
The winner and the organization's representative will be
contacted prior to the public announcement on March 24.
If you are also accepting offline pledges and donations, collect donations and prepare them for return to TEAM Coalition for arrival prior to March 20, 2008. The Download Center provides a form for tracking donations and instructions for returning everything to TEAM Coalition.
TEAM Coalition will post the total number of participants, amount donated and the name of the winner on TeamUp2Win.org. Participation certificates are available to thank and acknowledge employee participants' support at the Download Center.
